No malls. But there is Atlantic Station Shopping Center in Atlantic Beach on the main drag, W. Fort Macon Drive.
Another shopping center is in Morehead City on the main drag there, Arendell Street….just west of the bridge between Morehead and Atlantic Beach. Clothing is no problem.
